Creative2Job Naija, a social impact program is challenging the status quo, by championing the fight against unemployment, using the creative economy as a veritable tool.
Nigeria’s population is 65% young and full of energy and creativity, in a world where half of its entire 7 billion populations consume creative content daily. This is a huge opportunity for the over 80 million unemployed and underemployed youth in Nigeria to harness the creative economy for massive job creation.
The program is designed to gather and empower young people aged 15 to 40 who seek career in the creative sector, those looking to get training for industry knowledge, and tailored to build young people with tools and resources they need to make the creative industry a viable career option towards job creation.
It provides training from experienced creative professionals, one-on-one advisory support to guide in creative career decision making, access to free resources & tools, talent discovery, development, retention, and networking. Also, including advocacy awareness, education, community engagement and strategic partnership. While using online, offline and onsite project mechanism to reach out to target audience in cities, rural areas, campuses, schools, etc.
